“With every tear comes a lesson, with every memory, a bridge to a future where loss has taught us to live with a full heart.”
— Dr. Hanna Denny
Recognized for transforming her own experience with profound loss into work that helps women navigate grief, rediscover purpose, and begin creating meaningful new chapters in their lives.
When Life Changes Without Permission
There are moments that divide life into a before and an after.
For Dr. Hanna Denny, one of those moments came with the loss of her husband to cancer.
Grief changed the landscape of her life.
The future she had imagined was suddenly different. Familiar routines carried new meaning. Questions about identity, purpose, and what came next became impossible to ignore.
Like so many people who experience the death of a spouse or life partner, Denny discovered that grief isn’t something neatly contained within sadness.
Loss can touch nearly every part of life—relationships, confidence, identity, plans, finances, health, and the simple question of how to move forward when life no longer looks the way you expected.
Her journey through that experience eventually became part of a new purpose.
Learning to Live With Loss
Denny’s approach to grief does not center around simply “getting over” the person or life that was lost.
Instead, her work acknowledges that moving forward can include carrying memories, love, lessons, and experiences with us while learning how to build a life that continues to have meaning.
Her own words capture that philosophy:
“With every tear comes a lesson, with every memory, a bridge to a future where loss has taught us to live with a full heart.”
It is an important distinction.
Healing does not require forgetting.
Moving forward does not erase what came before.
And creating a new chapter does not diminish the importance of the chapters that shaped us.
When Nature Helps Create Space to Heal
Nature also became meaningful in Denny’s personal journey.
“Grief didn’t silence me. It opened a doorway—where nature helped me rediscover my voice and my mission.”
— Dr. Hanna Denny
During periods when grief can make life feel overwhelmingly complicated, nature can offer something remarkably simple: space.
Space to walk.
Space to think.
Space to remember.
Space to feel.
And sometimes, space to begin imagining what life might look like next.
For Denny, that connection became part of rediscovering her own voice and eventually recognizing that her experiences might allow her to support other women navigating similar transitions.

Turning Personal Experience Into Purpose
Denny began bringing together her lived experience with training in several transformational and complementary practices.
Her work has included Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), hypnotherapy, and Reiki.
Rather than approaching transformation from only one direction, she has developed work centered around the emotional patterns, beliefs, experiences, and life changes that can accompany grief and major personal transitions.
Her focus has especially included women in midlife who may be asking questions that reach far beyond their immediate loss:
Who am I now?
What does my future look like?
What do I want this next chapter to mean?
Those questions do not always have quick answers.
Denny’s work is centered around helping women create the space to begin exploring them.
From Grief to Purpose
The phrase “from grief to purpose” does not mean leaving grief behind.
It means recognizing that purpose can exist alongside it.
For women rebuilding after the loss of a spouse or partner, moving forward may involve much more than emotional healing.
There can be practical realities.
Financial changes.
New responsibilities.
Changes in friendships and family dynamics.
Health and wellness considerations.
And the challenge of making decisions independently when those decisions may once have been shared.
Denny’s work recognizes that rebuilding a life can involve the whole person—not simply one piece of the grieving process.
Her goal is to help women move toward greater emotional, spiritual, personal, and practical renewal while honoring the life and love that came before.
Creating a Healthier, More Meaningful Next Chapter
Wellness has also become part of Denny’s broader professional work.
She is the Founder, Director, and CEO of AdAgency Wellness and has worked across transformational practices and wellness education.
Her professional interests reflect a broader philosophy around helping people pursue healthier and more fulfilling lives.
For Denny, however, wellness is not simply about adding another routine or product.
Her story demonstrates how closely our emotional lives, sense of purpose, relationships, daily choices, and physical well-being can intersect.
A meaningful life after loss isn’t necessarily about returning to the person we were before.
Sometimes it is about discovering who we are becoming.
A Different Kind of Strength
Grief is often described in terms of strength.
But strength does not always look like appearing unaffected.
Sometimes strength is allowing ourselves to feel.
Sometimes it is asking for help.
Sometimes it is taking one small step when the larger journey feels impossible.
And sometimes it is eventually deciding that although a chapter of life ended in a way we never wanted, the rest of our story is still ours to write.
Denny’s journey reflects that kind of strength.
Her loss became part of her story.
It did not have to become the end of it.
Sharing Her Journey on Tuesday Talks
Dr. Hanna Denny has appeared on Tuesday Talks: Unlocking Freedom in Nature and Art, sharing her personal journey through loss and the experiences that helped reshape her understanding of grief, healing, nature, and purpose.
Her story speaks directly to one of the ideas behind these conversations: transformation does not always begin with something we choose.
Sometimes it begins with something that happens to us.
What comes next is the gradual process of discovering how we will carry that experience forward—and what we may choose to create from it.
